Mr. Zulfi A. Engineer
President/CEO
Mr. Engineer is the founder, president/CEO of the company. He has over 20 years experience in building and managing construction projects all over California and overseas. He specializes in building and managing small to large scale construction projects ranging from $100K to $5 million and over.
Apart from heading the management team, Mr. Engineer plays an integral role in the daily success of the Construction, Construction Management, Estimating, Inspection, Demolition and Abatement departments.
Mr. Engineer has a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from University of Houston. Mr. Engineer is also a licensed general engineering and building contractor holding A & B License # 769119. and ( ICBO / ICC) certified building inspector.
Ms. Saba Engineer, M.S, P.E
Senior Vice President
Ms. Engineer is the Senior Vice President of the company. She has over 20 years experience in designing and managing construction projects. She specializes in managing public works construction and Capital Improvement projects. Ms. Engineer has a Masters degree in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. ( Georgia Tech )
Ms. Engineer has been an integral part of the continuing expansion of the ZSCG clientele and service base - an asset and attribution to the growth and identity of ZSCG as a highly qualified and credible construction and management source [ actively ] supporting and serving [ all ] sectors of the industry.
Patrick ( Rick ) L. Taylor I
Corporate Director - Marketing & Business Development
Mr. Taylor, ( Corporate Director of Marketing and Business Development ), has industry experience that encompasses over 17 years of environmental construction, hazardous materials abatement, remediation and disposal expertise.
Mr. Taylor's educational background includes a major in Business Administration and minor in Marketing, ( Long Beach State University, Long Beach , CA ); Asbestos, Lead and Mold Abatement technologies certification, ( NATEC International, Inc., Garden Grove, CA ); AHERA Asbestos, Lead and Mold Contractor/Supervisor certification, ( Ecologics Lehr Environmental Services & Training Institute, Anaheim, CA ) and certification in Electronics Engineering Technolgy, ( ITT Technical Institute, Buena Park, CA ).
Mr. Taylor's responsibilities entail daily interface with certified industrial hygienist firms, property management groups, property development groups, general contractors, and financial institutions as well as local, state, and federal agencies, to enhance market share and industry prevalence in environmental construction, abatement and remediation as well as demolition. He is also president/CEO of Ocean Crest, Inc., ( a California licensed "B" general construction and abatement contractor - CSLB # 693352 ) founded by
Mr. Taylor in April 1994, and president/CEO of Gordian Environmental, LLC, ( a California and Texas licensed environmental construction consulting group and mold abatement contractor ) in which he founded in 2002.
Mr. Taylor has provided Marketing, Sales, Consulting and Management services and worked extensively and successfully with and for a number of Fortune 500 companies throughout his sales and marketing career including 3M Corporation, St. Paul, MN - Avnet Corporation, Irvine, CA - Hamilton/Avnet Corporation, Culver City, CA and ITT[ Terryphone Division ], Harrisburg, PA.
Albert A. Flores, Sr.
Senior Estimator/Field Operations Manager
Mr. Flores, ( Senior Estimator and Field Operations Manager ), has been in the environmental construction and abatement industry since 1985, starting his career working for Local Union 5 in Southern California as an asbestos worker. He spent ( 5 ) years working in Hi - Rise building projects throughout San Francisco, Oakland, Sacramento and the Bay area as a foreman - working up the ranks as a ‘traveler’ with Local Union 67, specializing in interior demolition and gutting out floors with size ranging from 5,000 square feet to 22,500 square feet. His extensive experience encompasses work completed for the Ferry Building, Macy’s 555 California Bank Building, a ( 55 ) story structure, 50 Beale St. Building, the Federal Building , One California Building , as well as the Embarcadero Building 1,2, & 3.
Between the three buildings he has completed ( 50 ) floors of interior demo and asbestos abatement as well as Vec-Loading materials under Star - burst Type “C” Air support systems, which entailed the supervision of a ( 80 ) worker crew, making all imposed deadlines without accidents or fines from any of the governing regulatory agencies. The largest project personally managed was a $25,000,000 project in down town Los Angeles, CA which entailed interior demolition and asbestos abatement - consisting of the removal of hazardous waste, installing ‘pony walls’ made with fire retardant wood, bridging stairwells, and encapsulation of elevator shafts.
Mr. Flores’ experience spans over a period of 25 years in the construction, asbestos, lead, mold, & demolition industries. He’s also an experienced / active Heavy Equipment operator for the Track Loader, Excavator, Bobcat, Scissor Lifts & Fork Lifts.
He is also president/CEO of R A D Demolition, Inc., ( a California state licensed C - 21 demolition contractor ) in which he founded the company in 2004.
Ric Yuriar
Project Manager ( Site Development Evaluation )
Mr. Yuriar, ( Project Manager for Site Development and Evaluation ), has responsibilities that entail daily interface and site assessment with property management groups, property development groups, general contractors, as well as local, state, and federal agencies, to ensure that
ZSCG has the intelligence gathered and properly evaluated to successfully take advantage of opportunities for environmental construction, abatement, remediation, general construction, general contracting, as well as demolition. As a California native, he is extremely astute and knowledgeable regarding Southern California business geography and demographics.
Mr. Yuriar brings a plethora of expertise and experience to ZSCG as it relates to field project management, service management, as well as property / site assessment and evaluation - enhancing the ‘collective efforts’ of ZSCG key personnel to broaden the customer base and gain market share through integrity, service and performance.
Having worked for organizations and entities such as Xerox, Northrop, F.E.M.A. and R A D Demolition, Inc., over the span of his professional career, Mr. Yuriar has developed an extremely ‘organized and well time managed’ approach to project management, employee management, site preparation and ‘objective development’ that is most essential in the successful estimating, securing, performance and completion of general construction, abatement, remediation and demolition projects for ZSCG.
Mr. Khalid Choudry (Alex)
Construction / Project Manager
Mr. Choudry is a seasoned and experienced Construction Manager for ZSCG. He has over 20 years of experience of coordination and overseeing construction projects from custom homes to the rehabilitation and remodeling of multiple unit housing projects.
